I am trying to install the Next Self learning Thermostat and below are my current wiring.
I plan to connect
RC jumpered to R (red) wire to R on the Nest
W O/B (White wire) to W on nest
W2 E/AUX (Brown wire) to W2.
The rest will go as shown C, G and Y to same ones on the nest.
My main confusion is about the W2 E/AUX wire, should that go to W2 or AUX?
Will really appreciate it if someone could help validate my above connections.
Thank you.

I was able to figure this out and got it working a week ago.
The point I missed is that the white wire is the the "Conventional" system versus the Heat pump. and once I understood that, I started reading only the conventional labeling instead of being confused with the "Heat Pump" version of the the labels.
In my picture the W2 went into the W2 for Conventional and so it went into the W for Nest.
Its all set up and working.
thanks

Hey there,
I'm so sorry for the delay in our response, but I wanted to hop in here to make sure we addressed your concern. I can definitely understand the confusion when it comes to thermostat issues as it can be very odd to figure out sometimes, but I'm happy to look into this for you.
First off, I would suggest using the Compatibility Checker to see if your system is compatible. Then, if it is, I would suggest contacting a pro to come out to help you with this since I know that the Nest thermostat is not compatible with stranded wires, every wire has to be connected to the Nest Thermostat system.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns as I'm happy to help.
Best regards,
Garrett DS
