You need to check your existing thermostat maybe take a pic of the wiring connection & post to get help installing nest. 
you can install nest to any 24 volt central air system. Good luck

Sorry need the pic from the front so can see the color and letters where they’re connected but that looks like it’s a thermostat connected to a zoning board possibly? Do you have more than 1 thermostat? Is this heat pump or gas system?

2 a/c units and gas heat. D,R, and B, white, red and blue connected wires

I don’t think nest would work. That’s some thermostat that’s connected to possibly a zoning board/system. Good luck
