Connecting Nest V3 Thermostat

CGR

Hey Handymen

I am in the process of connecting the nest v3 to my boiler (junkers cerasmart top 30 zwb). The Heat link is already powered and I also know I need to link the brown and blue 1 and 2 from the boiler to T1 and T2 from the thermostat.

However, what I don't know is which connection (without opentherm) I need to make between the heat link and the boiler. Can anyone help me further?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for reaching out to us here @CGR. I would be happy to try and assist.

Do not connect any wires from the boiler to the thermostat base. The thermostat base should only be connected to the Heat Link terminals for T1 and T2, they are designed to bring 12 V DC to the thermostat. Anything more will most likely damage it.

Please refer to this guide with information and installation examples: https://goo.gle/2pTMYLC

You have examples there with different boilers and how it should be done. Let me know if you need further assistance.

Hi @CGR. Just checking in, how's it going with your thermostat? Did you manage to check the last message from my colleague?
