Connection

Hi, I’m having problems with the wifi connection. I’ve had the device a year and ne er has it failed me. It’s the plug in thermostat. I e got a picture of a house inside a box on the front of the device. I’ve done everything I’ve read on here. 
turned everything off including phone. 
deleted apps, and reinstalled. 
Turned everything back on as suggested on another feed. 
if keeps coming up with connection issues. 
absolutely no idea what to do now. Thankfully I can turn the heating on manually but can’t program it or regulate it. 
is this a ploy to buy another one ????
