Controlling a Towel Radiator separately

ChristiBell

I’m just purchasing a towel radiator with element to install in the bathroom. I already have a nest thermostat to control my heating and hot water. Can I link my new towel radiator to the nest system to allow me to programme this separately for use when my home heating isn’t running?

Hello ChristiBell,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community Forum.

Linking a Towel Radiator is not supported by the Nest Thermostat, as it has a separate way for installation. However, a smart thermostatic radiator valve (TRV) might be attached to a heated towel rail. I'd suggest contacting your manufacturer or installer, as there might be changes needed for it to work. Please take a look at this article and let us know if you have more questions.

Mark
