Hello,
I’m sorry to bother you, but I have a concern regarding the current house temperature showing up in the Nest App.
I’ve had my Nest E for a couple years, and up until recently the Nest App on my wife and my iPhones always showed both the desired temperature and the current house temperature.
As of late, in the Nest App only the desired temperature shows up and there is just a grey dot to indicate where the current house temperature is on the dial but but no digits displaying the temperature. This is true on both my wife and my iPhones.
Oddly the current home temperature shows up properly on my Nest E and on the Google Home App.
My Nest E states that it’s software is up-to-date and my wife and I are running the latest version of iOS and the Nest App.
I have found a few other posts touching on this subject with no significant findings as far as I could see. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Adam

FYI, the most recent iOS Nest App update, 5.68.1, which was released yesterday, fixed this problem.

It seems to be the same on my end, since the upgrade happened. I cannot see the current temperature unless I switch the temperature off. The minute the screen goes orange the current temp digits dissapear.

Are there suppose to be anyone from nest getting in touch?

I’m not sure. I was hoping the next Nest App update would rectify it.

In the last couple of weeks I noticed the current temperature started showing only shows as a dot. I tried switching it to Fahrenheit and the current temperature shows as number, but switch it back to Celsius and it becomes a dot again. I'm in Canada and prefer to use Celsius so would like to see the number display restored.
Nest E (4.8), Software version 6.2.-27 updated May 3, 2022

Interesting! I just tried switching to Fahrenheit as well and the numbers showed up. Switch back to Celsius and they’re gone.
I’m in Canada also, and like you, prefer Celsius.
Thanks for the tip. Hopefully it’s just a temporary bug that is soon rectified.
