Hi alexinatl,

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum. Here's how you can delete custom schedules of your Nest Thermostat.

  • On the Google Home app screen, touch and hold your device's tile.
  • Tap Settings > Schedules.
  • Tap the three horizontal dots at the top right corner of the screen to delete custom schedule.

Let us know how it goes.

Best,

Zoe

  • Thx…specifically, I’m trying to erase custom events I created from the app so they don’t appear as choices any longer…

Hello alexinatl,

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. If you want to delete a custom event entirely, including removing it from the listed choices, you'll likely need to follow these steps:

  1. Launch the app associated with your thermostat on your mobile device or access the online portal if applicable.
  2. Navigate to the scheduling or event settings section of the app or online portal.
  3. Look for the list of events or schedules where your custom event is located. It may be under a specific category or section, such as "Custom Events" or "User Events."
  4. Locate the specific custom event you want to delete, in this case, "AM Week." Tap on it to access the event details or settings.
  5. Within the event details or settings, look for an option to delete or remove the event entirely. It may be labeled as "Delete," "Remove," or represented by a trash bin icon. Select that option to proceed with deleting the event.
  6. Some apps or online portals may ask for confirmation before permanently deleting the event. Follow any prompts or dialog boxes to confirm the deletion.
  7. After deleting the custom event, check the drop-down menu or event list to ensure that "AM Week" is no longer listed as a choice.

Let us know if that works.

Thanks,

Zoe

I’m trying to erase custom events that I created…by example, I created an event named “AM Week” in the app and I no longer want this event…in fact, I do not even want it as a choice in the drop down menu…how do I get rid of it?
