I just had my house HVAC redone to add three total zones. I have one Heat/AC system and the 3 zones are controlled by dampers. Once the contractor was done he decided to tell me that Nest Thermostats will not work with the required damper control for my system. Is this true or is there a certain thermostat Nest sells that will be compatible?

Nest/google told us the nest thermostat would work with our system (with dampers). We paid for the nest approved “Ontech” technician to come out to install it. Once he came out he told us bc we had dampers the nest thermostats will not work. 😑
