Deleting old account on nest when new one won’t link

I have an old nest account from a previous home that was never deleted and now that I added my new home, our thermostat is reading the previous homes address for outside temp and for home/away settings. I have been trying to delete my account to start over but all the app does is take me to my google account where it won’t even let me link my new nest. So there is no nest on my google home to delete. I feel like my account is in limbo… how do I fix this??

In order to remove a previous home, you need to first remove all of the device that registered to that previous home. Once all devices are removed, you then delete the house. There also a setting to pick the primary home.
