Hi,

Can anyone help me with this? I want to create backplate alternatives for the Nest Thermostats in Europe and other parts of the world. But since they quite expensive and different products in Europe and America etc. I hope to get some help from the community.

Here is what I need:

- Picture of back of the base (if that's possible)

- With Diameter

- With sizes of holes (for screws) and locations of these holes

- Optional extra sizes if needed

Thank you for your help already.

This plate against the wall is what I am trying to make:

I would search the internet, as pictures of this item is easy to find. Front and back.

Sizes and dimentions would be best taken by yourself, as you get it wrong it's your problem. Getting a measurment from anyone is a gamble, best do that part yourself. A little silly having loads made, and you have not tried fitting one yourself! Having said that, make 1000 units, by the time you purchase a base plate, the cost is covered.

You could always buy this style in the colour of your choice.

Hi there, That is definitely true. Short answer would be buying one yourself which is the easiest way probably. The long answer would be that is the problem it is really difficult to find a picture with dimension of the back. So I thought I'll try it this way. Otherwise I would need to buy one myself, but that would be my last option. Since there is always a way to find a test subject.

I didn't expect that sort of reply, as I was going to suggest I could send you one of several faulty ones I have. I can see you are after finding the information for free, so suggesting just postage cost for one would be pointless.
