Double check on wiring heat pump

Looking for a second opinion to validate my plan to re-wire an old thermostat (carrier) to a Nest Learning thermostat. The thermostat controls a dual-fuel heat pump/gas furnace on the 2nd zone of the house.

Wiring map plan (labeling from old thermostat --> Nest):

  • O/W2* --> O
  • R --> Rh
  • G --> G
  • Y/Y2 --> Y1
  • W/W1 --> W1
  • C --> C
  • S1 --> not needed, tape off
  • S2 --> not needed, tape off

Anything strike folks as odd / off here? Thanks!

@gsoltes1 , your wiring looks correct for a heat pump that is a type O. and, the two Sensor wires are not needed and taped off is good.
