For the past few weeks I have been having this problem multiple times a day. The Nest app and the Google Home app (and the nest website) all show that the thermostat is offline, but when I go directly to the thermostat on the wall, it is online. It is also still operational when it says offline; we have a safety temp of 50 min. set and I can hear it running on our cameras). The Nest cameras (which are much farther away from modem and super sensitive to any wifi blip) still work fine and do not show any downtime, so I don't know it it's a wifi issue.
I've tried reseting the modem, rebooting the actual thermostat, using a different wifi connection and nothing has worked. Any ideas? Thanks!
