Hey,
I have an heat pump and the forced air at my home. I want to heat with the forced air when the temperature is bellow -5 because it's making less noise. In fact, if I start it manualy everything is working fine but it won't switch with the dual fuel setting. It will always goes on the heat pump no matter what.
In my souvenir it was working properly last winter

Are you using the Nest sense heat pump balance setting or do you have a lockout temp setup?

I am using a lock out temp setup. When, I put the setting to always, it work on the alt heat without issues. If I lock out the temperature it won't work.

Yes heat pump balance is not available in dual fuel systems, but setting the lockout should still work.

I still have the issues that the Dual fuel temperature lock out doesn't work. It will stay on the heat pump. If put the temperature to always, it work properly. It look like the last patch had a bug.

Did you try restarting your thermostat? (long press). My understanding is that the lockout temp setup is compatible with dual fuel but I never used in that mode, and moreover I think you mentioned it worked for you last winter.
Can a community specialist confirm awareness of any impact to the lockout feature in dual fuel mode by a recent software update?
