Hello,
I have a Nest Learning Thermostat, 3rd generation. Starting earlier this week, I noticed that eco mode turns on automatically very often. After I turn on AC, almost within an hour the eco mode will start and stop my AC. I’ve turned off home/away assist. I also disabled auto schedule. I even tried locking my thermostat. Nothing helped. Eco would still turn itself on. What else can I try? I happy to provide screenshots on my settings.
Thank you for your help!

I am in your situation also. I want to disable Eco mode entirely and there is no way to do that. I have animals at home and the minimum cooling temperature is 76F. WTF! I want to set the temperature for daytime and nighttime. But no matter what I do, Eco mode kicks off and the hot gets way to hot. My senior animals don't do well. Why do I have to start using auxilliary cooling units when i can just set my home for 73F and everyone be happy?

What's worse in that in the settings section, you can set Eco mode to run forever, but you have to set a stop time for any other mode.

If after following those steps you still need assistance please let us know so we can assist you further.

Didn't work. IT defaults to Eco and stays there
