Okay.  I have installed the thermostat and it seems to be working.  But.  I had 7 wires.  White W/E, Red RH, Green G, Black W2, Yellow Y,  Blue C and Orange O/B.   I wired all but the Black wire.  Is this correct?   Included a pic of the original wiring. It’s a Westinghouse system

@cnice117 ,

@cnice117 ,

This is going to take a little bit of an explanation.  You have a Heat Pump system with a forced air cabinet that has electric heat strips installed it.   Your wire attached to the old thermostat W/E is your emergency heat wire.  The wire attached to W2  is your auxiliary heat.
You will need a Nest Learning Thermostat in order to support Auxiliary Heat and Emergency Heat with a heat pump.  Your wires should be attached as follows:

Rh, Red Wire, goes to Nest Rc

OB, Orange Wire, goes to Nest OB

Y, Yellow Wire, goes to Nest Y1

G, Green Wire, goes to Nest G

WE, White Wire, Goes to Nest *

C, Blue Wire, Goes to Nest C

W1, Black Wire, Goes to Nest W2/AUX.

It should look like this picture I created for you.
