Fan not turning on with heat

Hi,

we just got the nest learning thermostat, the one with the blue level 

we were sure to make sure the wires are connected correctly, 

we have Central AC and furnace heating.

The AC works well with the fan we don’t have any problems there however when we try to turn the heat on we can hear the furnace on but the fan isn’t blowing through the vents. 
We had a white yellow green and red cable on our old thermostat and made sure this was compatible before installing.

any ideas on how to get this working?
