We just moved into a brand new, tiny, laneway house. Everything is new. The house supposed to be smart with a bunch of Nest products. We have a heat pump and HVAC system. The fan is not working automatically. The heat pump is working but no air is blowing. I have to manually turn it on when I expect it to turn on and off automatically. I have tried the eco mode on and off but it doesn't make a difference. Often the house is hotter inside that out. The person who installed the heat pump checked the set up and said that everything is fine and that the Google Nest thermostat is at fault. I have been checking the settings and there is one that ask for the heat pump location? Does that matter for my issue? I wonder in there is a set up error as I have an HVAC system (which supposed to suck and circulate the air) and the fan (which blows air inside the house? There are different vents for them? Any suggestions or advice? We have not tested the heating system as it has been hot since we moved in but we have heating floors.
