Hi...I have a 2-stage furnace (no AC), and use the fan-only setting to help circulate air and keep the house cooler in the summer.
My question is: Is there any way to have the Nest employ the 2nd/higher stage fan?? As-is, turning on the fan uses the lower fan setting...it would really help a lot more if I could turn the fan on high to move more air.
Thanks so much-

Hi RobbiesNest,
Thanks for reaching out. Nest thermostats are compatible with most fans and systems that use standard 24-volt wiring. Changing the fan speed is only available for systems with multi-speed fan controls over the thermostat wires. This affects the fan speed when your system is actively heating and cooling. You’ll have separate options to set the fan speed each time you manually turn on your fan or if you set a fan schedule. Here's how:
Press your thermostat ring to open the Quick View menu.
Choose Done to set your system’s fan speed.
Thanks,
Edward
