Sometimes I would like to turn down the AC a couple of degrees but only for 15 minutes or half an hour. It’d be nice to be able to set a timer for heating or cooling so that if I turn it up or down a few degrees I can set it to revert back to the original temperature.
It's an interesting idea, the problem is that feature would cast quick cycling and wear down units faster, which would be a bad thing in the long run. Usually what I do is run the fan for 15 or 39 minutes to circulate the air, and I find that to be quite effective.
