Forgot PIN and don't have access to app and can't change to heat mode on thermostat

I can't access my thermostat, tried resetting it but can't do so as I don't remember correct PIN and don't have access through the app.  I've read that you can get to some files if you connect to a PC but I can't seem to get the PC to recognize the thermostat (PC will recognize other USB devices).  I have windows 11 if that helps.

Make sure your PC is on Bluetooth and ur home wifi. Get close to your nest thermostat, make sure thermostat is hooked up as if it is working
