Forgot the nest thermostat password of my nest app

Hi there 

I forgot my nest thermostat  password and unfortunately I deleted my thermostat from my app. Winters is coming I need to change the setup of the thermostat. How can I do that??

I am also having trouble. I forgot my PIN AND have updated my router since last year, so I can't reset it in the app. I have removed the device from the Nest app, but the device is still locked. I am trying to connect it to my Apple iMac to see if I can somehow reset it that way. So far, no luck...hoping someone can help us both! Trying to get ready for heating season!
