If my Snow thermostat is working fine, do I need the C wire? Getting error N261. If I replace the batteries frequently (if at all) would that replace the need for the C wire?

Hi GerryTodd
If your Nest Thermostat shows the error message N260 or N261, it means the thermostat receives low power. These errors are fixable by the proper installation of the Nest Power Connector. Check this link to know more about Nest Power Connector.

I'm having a tech come by tomorrow to connect the Nest Power Connector, thanks. Good to know you can manually turn the heat on and off, but need the Nest Power Connector to connect to Wifi.
