Hello all,
i just got myself a Goole Nest Thermostat 2 days ago.
i cant connect it with Google Home app at all. I tried all possible options (to my knowledge), and it just doesn’t work.
During the set up process i reach finale phase where is says ‘your device is ready’ and immediately after that i get the error with Headline ‘Home Address’ and below in error 206.
Any idea how to resolve this? I bought it specifically so i can program the temp during different times in a day so not being able to use the all beats the purpose of it completely.
Thanks in advance!

Good timing!
just resolved it today.
Follow the below steps:
1. Open Google Home App
2. Press Settings button located at the home screen
3. Under General section click on Home Information
4. Click on Home Address
5. Clear all details about your location and save
6. Restart the Google Nest Thermostat
7. Follow the steps to add the thermostat to Google Home App (again)
8. Once you reach ‘Device is ready’ if this approach worked for you, you should get next screen with location information.
9. Select your location and follow the rest of the steps to complete the setting up process.
Hope this works for you!!

yes, DB88 was correct. The setup only finished when I entered my home address. I did also setup 2FA but I don't think that contributed to the error.
