Google Nest thermostat

Can I change the preset temperatures for Comfort, Eco and Sleep? It only allows me to set it at 77, I can’t go any lower, why?

Yes it should let you set any temp you want.

If you use the Home app you have to go to Temperature Preferences and then see the 3 choices for Comfort Eco Sleep and set whatever you want.

Only other thing I can think of that might be a problem is check what you have for Safety Temperature.

Usually its 40 deg but maybe if its set at 77 that could be the issue but not sure.

The safety temperature is set to 40. The only way I can change it is by doing it manually and hold it until a certain time, after that time it changes back to 77 again.
