Google nest fan won’t stop running when on heat

I installed a Google nest with out heat pump, everything works when set to cool. When I change the setting to heat or heat/cool the fan will run continuously. The fan is not running at full power but still running. What could the issue be?

1. Are you from North America or Europe? 
2. What type of Nest Thermostat do you have or planning to have? 
3. What is the make and model of your HVAC?
4. Could you send us a picture of your current wiring in the Nest Thermostat and the wiring on your control board?

Hi Renz, 

I am in North America, I have a Google nest smart thermostat. The blower is a Goodman and the compressor is a Mr Cool heat pump.

Hi there,

Thanks for providing the information above. The first photo of the wires indicates that you have a conventional system. The maroon wire should be inserted in the W terminal of the Nest Thermostat, as it is originally connected to W1 terminal. I'd like to take a closer look at it. Could you please provide the model number of your Goodman and Mr Cool system?
