Google will not connect to my WIFI. followed instructions on all sites but nothing. Tried the Google Australia phone number but that was automated. Crap. Exchanged for a new product but still nothing. I have no idea what the problem is. Follow instructions and its always comes back to switch modem off.

Similar issue here - nest dropped offline after a few months, no amount of restarting or hard resetting will resolve. It cannot find *any* networks, including a phone hotspot right beside it - seems like a hardware issue

Hey there,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.
I understand that wifi issues can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.
Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried? I have also found an article that may help with this issue.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

Hi GarrettDS. WiFi on unit was dead so arranged for new unit. New unit could see WiFi immediately, ironically now it can't connect to heat link wirelessly, more resetting and or replacement required I guess!

Hey jonathanmcnamee,
Glad to hear you were able to fix the initial issue. Sorry to hear you are running into another issue now, though. I would be more than happy to help you out and ensure you are good to go. Please let me know if you are still having trouble connecting to the Heat link and I will be sure to send this on over to our Team to review.
Best regards,
Jake

Got this resolved too. Got my installer to replace heat link too when replacement parts came in, worked first time. Seems that they have to be done as a pair, you can't mix and match units. It's also apparently a known issue that the wi-fi chips just die in some batches.
