Having trouble with your A.C is never an ideal time, and I am sorry to hear this is the case. Let's jump in and ensure your system is working properly from here. If you are seeing a delay on the thermostat, this could be due to a couple of reasons. Do you mind sending me a picture of your current wire set up for me to review? I also did find a helpful article that has some troubleshooting steps. Please let me know if that helps.
