HVAC won’t turn off

Had new HVAC installed. Reprogrammed our NEST thermostat, now the system won’t turn off even when made button off is selected.

Post a picture of the original thermostat's wiring.

Did you factory default your Nest before installing it?

The wire placement is correct for the B configuration. My daughter along with the HVAC installer went through the default reset mode.  Last night it was turned to off but kept running.  The new HVAC is a Rheem 3 ton and has a high/low fan system does that have anything to do with the problem? The reason we got a new HVAC was for energy conservation that doesn’t seem to be happening yet.
