Having a problem installing Nest Temperature Sensor

Hello,

I recently installed the Google-Nest smart programmable wifi thermostat but I cannot work out how to add the temperature sensor.

The thermostat made me setup in Google Home and that's working great. However z when I try to add the sensor, it's telling me to go and install in the Nest app? 

I go there and it says I need to install the Nest thermostat first. So, I go through the steps and select already installed and then it asks me for the Nest key. It says go to "Nest App" in the thermostats setting and then the key will be displayed. However, there's no "Nest app" option.

Right now, I'm stuck. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I tried a factory reset and when I did the Nest told me to set up in Google Home.

The Nest Temperature Sensor is not compatible with the Google Nest Thermostat. Only the Nest Learning Thermostat, 3rd Gen, or the Nest Thermostat E is compatible.

Ah, well that explains that one then! Do you know if they're planning on making sensors for this model?

RLB17, I hope you've got the answer you're looking for. Also, Patrick is right. We don't have news to share if we'll be making Nest Temperature Sensors for our new Nest Thermostat but we'll keep everyone informed through this Community page and our social channels.

I have the same issue but I have a thermostat e 

It asked to setup on NestApp for the thermostat which needs a entry key but there is no option for the entry key on the e thermostat.  please any info
