Heat Pump and Gas Furnace with Solar

I have a dual fuel heating system with both a gas furnace and electric heat pump.  I would like to set the heat balance based on time of day and not outside temperature.  Any way to accomplish this?

Alternatively is there a way to set the heat balance for alternative fuels higher than 50 degrees?  It rarely drops below 50 where I live

Situation:

I have solar panels and unused energy in the winter.  Id like to use the solar to power the heat pump while the sun is up.  Then at night use the gas furnace which is cheaper.

I too have the same situation. They should allow us to schedule emergency heat a.k.a. natural gas versus heat pump a.k.a. Electric (when it’s sunny use solar. 8 AM to 5pm. ). Just like they have the heating + cool setting they could split the temperatures with a vertical line instead of a horizontal.
