Heat link won’t connect to thermostat e

Hi our Thermostat e had come up with a communication error and no light on the Heat link so I figured batteries need changing so replaced with some Lithium ultras .

Still not working so did a reset of everything and started again. App connects to Thermostate E but Heatlink stays pulsing blue and fails to connect.

Any ideas to get it to connect?
Batteries are correct energiser

Hello there! Thanks for posting again. Can you please check in the Nest App the status of the Heat Link or if there's any code showing? Please make sure to let us know so we can try to give you the correct troubleshooting steps.

Thanks in advance, Oana.

Thank you so much. Please try the following troubleshooting steps and let me know how it goes:

1.Quit and restart the Nest app or Google Home app.

2.Restart the mobile device or tablet.

3.Make sure the assisting device is awake and within pairing distance (maximum of 2 to 3 meters).

4.Put the mobile device or tablet on Airplane mode, then turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

5.Try a different mobile device or tablet.

6.Restart the network equipment (router, extender, or modem).

7.Test with a mobile hotspot.

8.Create a new home structure and delete the old home structure.

9.Pair all devices to the new home structure.
