Heat pump with Aux heat

I have a single stage heating and cooling heat pump with a total of six connections to a Honeywell RTH7600 thermostat.20230625_163653.jpg

1: Aux jumper together with a jumper to E 
2: R with a jumper to RC

3: OR/BK

4 :Y

5: G

6: C

Will a Nest work?

@ncwanderer , yes indeed the Nest Thermostat will work.  In your old thermostat I see a jumper wire between Aux and Emergency.  The Nest cannot do jumper wires.  If your cable has one more conductor wire not being used, then it could be used for Emergency heat.  If you need an explanation of the difference of Auxiliary Heat and Emergency Heat just ask.

Where would the wire for emergency heat terminate on the Nest (non-learning)? I have seen article that show how to turn emergency heat on but maybe that applies to the learning version only.

@ncwanderer , you are correct, only the Nest Learning Thermostat support an Emergency Heat function.
