Heating going above temp on thermostat

MHendo
Community Member

Hi

My thermostat is set to 19 and the heating exceeds this temperature and takes the room up to an unbearable 24 degrees. I have reset the thermostat, contacted Nest helpdesk and came off the wifi network as recommended for 36 hours. No changes. We have underfloor heating so appreciate that the ambient temperature may not stop at 19 dead on, but it is exceeding it by 5 degrees. I don't want to think what this is costing me...

Thanks.

Hi MHendo,

Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. Is the reset you did is a factory reset or a normal restart? Also, could you please check if your Nest Thermostat software is up to date?

Best,

Jenelyn
