Heating staying on after I turn the nest thermostat down

Despite my thermostat being turned down, and then off the radiators are still pumping out heat and have been for several hours. How do I fix this please?

Yikes! Let's see what's going on. Are you located in North America or Europe? What type of Nest Thermostat do you have? To check if this situation is caused by your thermostat, remove the thermostat display from the base and wait about five minutes and let us know if the heat turns off or will stays on.

Hi Zoe.  I had to call a plumber.  The issue was a stuck valve, nothing to do with the thermostat.  All sorted now thank you.
