Hi,
We have a 3 generation nest thermostat, etc, system. Our Heatlink has stopped working (seems like the well known problem of power to unit but no lights, etc). We have contacted the Google contractor as requested for a replacement unit but the earliest they say they can provide a replacement is in 5 days. We have 4 young children so being without heat/hot water for that length of time is unacceptable. Any practical suggestions as to how to override the system and manually switch the (combi) boiler on?

Hello there! Thanks for posting. I am sorry to hear that you're facing issues with your thermostat, but i'll be more than happy to help out. In situations like these we'll need to document the case properly and for that please answer these questions:
1. When was the thermostat installed?
2. Are you seeing any wiring report or error on the thermostat and/or the app?
3. Have you recently had service or maintenance on your electrical, plumbing, or heating system?
4. Were there any power outages?
5. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps before contacting us?
Also, since you mentioned you have a combi boiler, i just wanted to let you know that the hot water is on demand and has nothing to do with the functionality of the Heat Link or the thermostat.
Many thanks, Larisa.
