Help- Nest Thermostat E Connection

Hello,

I have a hot water tank boiler system and my HVAC people said a Nest thermostat system should work.  System had Honeywell standard, non- digital thermostat with only a red and white wire connected.  I installed the Nest E thermostat and it didn’t turn on at all. Will I need C power connector? Will this work with my system?  Please help and let me know how to wire up..  I have pictures but can’t figure out how to attach. Thank you.

Any Nest thermostat will work, but you must use the Google Nest Power Connector and possibly a relay.

Give this a try.
