Help wiring a Nest Learning Thermostat

sergiovaz

Hello,

I just purchase a new Nest Learning Thermostat. My old thermostat was wired as follow:

Black wire in a number 1

Green wire in a number 2

Red wire in a R

White in a C

Can someone help me trying to wire those wires to the new Nest Learning Thermostat.

Thanks,

Sergio

If you don't have AC unit in your resident, you can wire like this to Nest terminals :

-  Black to C

- Green to G

- Red to Rh

- White to W1

Hi folks,

Thanks for chiming in, @Land1.

@sergiovaz, thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest in our Nest Thermostats. Non-standard labels of 1 and 2 means that your system is proprietary. Proprietary systems aren’t compatible with Google Nest Thermostats. However, some proprietary systems can be rewired by a pro installer to be compatible.

Let us know if that helps.

Best,

Zoe
