Home/Away Assist working fine but recently stopped generating logs in “Activity history”. I see the past 10 days, but each day has “No events”. This functionality has worked fine in the past.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries; we'll check this out. Just a few questions: Is this happening to a different device? Have you tried to reinstall the Nest app? Did you try to go to https://goo.gle/2qjvVSU and check if it is still not showing any of the Activity history?

I checked on the nest website and the logs are also empty. Regarding your question about different devices. What device you're referring to? On my Google Home application, I have two devices; a Nest thermostat & Google WiFi. Interesting fact; when changing from Home to Away manually, in an application, logs got recorded. When the system is done automatically using the sensor logs are not generated. I will try to re-install the mobile application and let you know.

I think we have provided you with all details we know. I feel that Google disabled this option on the server side and we are just wasting our time. 😞

i only have the Nest Thermostat. Following on from Alex’s comments I can confirm that events are recorded if you set the Home/Away status manually from the app, but nothing is recorded if the thermostat sets the status. This looks to be an issue between the device and the servers.
