Nest is in starting soon mode then stays on for 30 seconds and turns off. Home is nowhere the temperature it is set to.

@Lpierce , this problem is often caused when the battery power is very low🪫. Does your Nest Learning thermostat use a Common wire? As a test, carefully remove your nest display, turn it over and uses a micro-USB cable and charge the display for several hours.  If your Nest Thermostat is the basic model, make sure it gets a couple new batteries.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to ensure that everything was covered here.

I appreciate your help here, @CoolingWizard.

@Lpierce, in addition to what was mentioned, please gather your thermostat's power readings. You can find them in its Technical Info settings or in the Equipment settings if you have the Nest Thermostat 2020 model. Also, does this happen in both heating and cooling modes?

I'll look forward to your response.

Best,
Mark
