Honest review on Nest Thermostat

I have bought 2 neat thermostats in the last 3 years. First one quit working so replaced and had installed by an electrician. Worked fine over the winter then turned it off when we had days that needed neither heat/air. Turned air back on when temp when up and will not hold a charge. Called customer service at Google who ran diagnostics and admitted to faulty chip in THEIR equipment. Replacement only with them either waiting to put 200+ hold on a credit card or send to them and they will send. Neither option works if you have no credit card and want to spend DAYS in over 88 degree temps with no air. First rep refused to transfer to supervisor  (asked 10 times) and then hung up. Second rep was rude as well. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DONT BUY THIS PIECE OF TRASH!!!!!
