Hot water not working

The thermostat says the hot water is on but it’s not turning the boiler on; 

Ive listened for clicks - none

restarted the heat link

restarted the thermostat 

what else can I do?

How have you activated the H/W, by app or display?

Do you have any lights on the Heat Link?

The H/w is not activated 

the heat link is showing a green dot and I can control the heating from the same thermostat but not the hot water

When was the thermostat installed, and has it ever worked as it should?

Both on the app and the thermostat say water is on. 

it was installed 5 years ago and has worked perfectly until yesterday

It’s a system boiler.

What happens when you press the Heat Link button, does the water come on then?

No that doesn’t do anything - sorry 

I’ve factory reset the thermostat now and its working so fingers crossed it stays working
