Hello,
Ive reset my nest app as it was connected to my wife’s old iPhone.
Since the reset the hotwater seems to only work when heat link is switched to Manual mode.
i can’t find any information in the nest thermostat or app relating to hotwater.
ive searched the internet and forums and it feels like im in an information loop without solving my problem.
help !

Just to confirm, Forget the app for a moment.
Are you saying the only way to get Hot Water is to press the button on the Heat Link?
Can you get Hot Water by the display, and turning on by boost for say 30 mins?
Just for get the App at present.

Seems this way.
Combi boiler with a water tank. The tank cools when the heatlink isn’t on manual mode, to the point we have no hotwater, unless the heatlink is put into manual mode.

You are saying, hot water is achieved by pressing the Heat Link button or operating via the display only - Correct? The only way to get hot water is by manual mode and nothing else - correct?
Have you checked the motorised valves if you have them?

Correct. My only way to get hot water is to put heat link into manual mode, via pressing the button on the heat link

I also asked - Have you checked the motorised valves if you have them?
Do you get hot water when the heating is on?
