Original Poster:

I locked my device(NEST learning Thermostate) with the temp range 70-80°F.

Now my renter says, that the device is asking for the code to unlock. I am not in town, but I need to explain to my renter, how he can use that device without the code.

Needs he to press the screen, and the turn the ring?  OR
At black screen turn the ring? OR
At screen "on" turn the ring? OR
Screen on and press screen?

Please Help me I have no device here with me for testing it.

Regards
George

Hi Georg Molnar,

When your thermostat is locked, anyone can turn the thermostat’s ring to change the temperature within the range you’ve set. When the thermostat is on and shows the temperature screen, turn the ring clockwise and counter clockwise to increase or decrease the temperature.
