Hi there,
I had a hard time connecting this device to my network via the nest app but finally got it working. Now I realize that I really want it in the Google app instead. I don't see how I can do that because the thermostat says paired with app already when i try to sync via the app QR.
Can I sync it to two apps?

When you install either the Nest Learning Thermostat or the Nest Thermostat E in the Google Nest app, the thermostat SHOULD automatically appear in the Google Home app if you are logging on with the same Google Account, accessing the same Google Nest "home/structure", and have assigned the thermostat to a "room".
However, in the last several months customers in this forum keep reporting this is not happening. Many of these customers have been able to fix the problem with this workaround:
In the Google Nest app, create a new, temporary second Google Nest "home/structure".
Go to that newly created, empty Google Nest "home/structure" in the Google Home app and delete it.
Sounds crazy, but customers keep reporting it works.
This apparently forces the 2 apps to sync, and the thermostat then appears in the Google Home app.

Hi there,
I just noticed that the accounts are different on Nest and Google Home. Is there a way to change the account on the Nest App? I see I can ADD accounts, but not sure if I can change the primary to match the google Home app.

Google Nest does not provide the ability to change accounts for Google Nest devices.
If both accounts are Google Accounts, you will need to decide which one you want to use, and then remove the Google Nest devices from the other account, do a factory reset, and then reinstall them.
