How do I de-activate Nest Renew Basic on thermostat while staying in the Rush Hour Rewards Program?

I need to remove Nest Renew Basic from my thermostat completely. I participate in a Rush Hour Rewards program and want to keep that. Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out. You can sign into the Nest Renew clean energy subsidy program portal to cancel subscriptions for your thermostats.  

You can follow these guides:

On a computer

1. Sign into the Nest Renew portal.
2. Choose the home with the Nest Renew subscription that you want to cancel.
3. At the top right, click the Google Account icon.
4. Verify that the Google Account shown is the one you used to enroll in Nest Renew for the account you wish to cancel.
5. Tap Settings Cancel (next to your Nest Renew ID number).

On a mobile device

1. Sign into the Nest Renew portal.
2. Choose the home with the Nest Renew subscription that you want to cancel.
3. At the top right, tap the Google Account icon.
4. Verify that the Google Account shown is the one you used to enroll in Nest Renew for the account you wish to cancel.
5. At the top left, tap Menu .
6. Next to the home address, tap the down arrow .
7. A list of homes that are connected to Nest Renew will appear. Choose the home with the Nest Renew subscription that you want to cancel.
8. Tap Settings Cancel (next to your Nest Renew ID number).
