How do I get rid of the gold gear that now often appears on my Nest 2 "home screen?"

On occasion my NEST 2 shows a gold gear on the "home screen" below the temperature, and it changes the temperature to some degree.  How do I get rid of this feature????  I do not use nor have the NEST APP - so how do I get rid of it on the device itself.  Thank you for anyone's help

The gold gear with a Nest Leaf inside is the Rush Hour Rewards feature. This features turns the heating or cooling up or down a few degrees to save energy when energy is in high demand.

To unenroll, contact the Google Nest support team directly.

1. Go to Contact Us - Google Nest Help
2. Select an appropriate product or category, type a brief description of the issue, then click Next.
3. Click Other, then click Next step.
4. In the Resources section, click Next step.
5. Choose to get a phone call, call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
