How do I set temp so that it stays constant? I am fighting this **bleep** thing all the time.

How do I stop the Nest from rising my temperature setting?  The Nest is set at 73 and then suddenly it is 80 degrees!  My cats are getting sick. I don’t know how to set the **bleep** thing so it stays at a constant temperature. I do not have it on a schedule and all evoc crap stuff is off. If I can’t fix this I am replacing it. This sucks!

Hi Eimac,

Thanks for posting and sorry to hear about your Nest thermostat is changing the temperature by itself. No worries, help's here! I have a question about your device:

  • Which Nest Thermostat do you have?

If you own a Nest Learning Thermostat, let's try disabling the  Auto-Schedule learning to see if that fixes it:

Google Home app

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. Tap Favorites  or Devices .
  3. Select your thermostat.
  4. Tap Settings Settings  > Temperature Preferences > Auto Schedule. Then select the mode you want to use: Auto, Suggestions, or Off.

Nest app

  1. Open the Nest app, then select your Nest thermostat.
  2. Select Settings Nest settings icon and then Auto-Schedule.
  3. Tap the switch to turn it off.

On your thermostat

  1. Choose Settings > Nest Sense > Auto-Schedule and then Off.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,

Axel.
