Every time I have a slight power problem, my nest goes off line. Then, I have to delete everything and re-add it. My wiring diagram for my nest of course does not match the wiring diagram in the app, so it takes forever to figure out how to program the app. Any ideas? I have Y, C, G, R, OB for the wiring diagram on the wall. However, the app does not have matching diagrams. I have a single, Heating, Cooling System with a fan. What needs to be checked in the app to get this back to working. It's HOT out. Nest really messed this up.

Do you have a picture of the original thermostat's wiring that you can post here?

The box just says Google Nest Thermostat. No model number. It was installed properly by a professional. It has always operated fine, until a power outage or surge. Them, for some strange reason, needs to be completely set up all over again. No error codes. Just not connected to wifi. There is a bar code that says 93575 00769.

Hi srsalespro,
Thanks for replying, do you control your thermostat from the Google home app? If not what error it says on the app.

I can use the thermostat or the Google Nest App. The app says offline now. It did say, WiFi disconnected I believe when the power surge took place.
