How do I stay logged in to Nest on iPhone?

I am frequently booted and asked to log back in Nest. How can I stay logged in? The login ritual is too cumbersome for checking a thermostat.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Google Nest Community.

There are settings per app that you could check for the app to be logged most of the time. Go to the settings on your iPhone and then apps, make sure to enable background refresh.

So far so good, I think enabling background refresh may have been the trick.  But it's been less than a week so I'll wait a bit a longer before declaring success because it was always intermittent.  Thanks for checking up.
