Yes it is compatible with nest thermometers. Just match wiring colors to color coded terminals on your nest. Make sure you first shut your breaker off to your heating/cooling unit before installing your nest thermostat.

Hi folks,
@Yreka6054, thanks for the help!
@shaunabrown23, thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Nest Thermostat. To isolate the issue, please make sure that your C wire is seated properly. If necessary, please try restripping the end of the wires before connecting them. Make sure that your breakers are off before touching your wires.
Thanks,
Edward

what does the blue wire do and what is the C on the color code?
Thanks

Hi richarddifiore,
Thanks for the response. The C wire is the common wire. A common wire is a wire that's dedicated to delivering constant power and stabilizing the flow of current into the thermostat.
Thanks,
Edward
